The Willing House is the last step before one bridges themselves back to "the real world", helping people with the disease of addiction move on once they are completely comfortable to leave this environment. It is up to the individual to utilize the tools they've learned in recovery in order to stay clean and sober. Each recovering individual has one foot in their recovery continuum building a support group for themselves once they leave us, and the other foot in everyday life.

Addiction Treatment Options

Though The Willing House does Not provide treatment of any kind, our preferred provider at Lake Avenue Recovery has best in class addiction treatment for those seeking a higher level of care.  Their state of the art, calming and soothing environment includes luxurious fireplaced waiting areas with complimentary beverages and snacks, thoughtfully appointed and spacious meeting rooms, with bright and professionally designed drug and alcohol counseling offices.

Their facility has ample room for the array of activities that compose a holistic addiction treatment program including yoga, guided meditation, music and art therapy, therapy dog encounters, massage and reiki.

At Lake Avenue Recovery, they guide people down a comprehensive addiction recovery path that includes a Day Treatment Program, Intensive Outpatient Program and an Evening Treatment Program.

Their medical and clinical directors guide individuals through an assessment to determine which drug and alcohol treatment fits best. The assessment is predicated on the American Society of Addiction Medicine’s placement criteria, the most widely used and comprehensive set of guidelines for placement, continued stay and transfer/discharge of patients with addiction and co-occurring conditions. ASAM’s criteria are required in over 30 states. ASAM’s criteria uses six dimensions to create a holistic, biopsychosocial assessment of an individual to be used for planning and treatment across all levels of care.

Seasonal offerings like rowing, kayaking, and sailing, along with tradition holistic pursuits, like massage, Reiki, Tai-Chi, Qigong and meditation are all designed to bring joy back into a person’s life. Their dedication and compassion combine to provide a unique approach that separates them from other drug and alcohol treatment centers.

"Hey guys, I just wanted to take a min and say how appreciative of the house and you all I am. Tomorrow is the end of my probation and if you guys hadn't taken a chance on me, I don't know if I would have made it to this point so thank you. Seriously, this is the best house I've ever been in and to be truly free now of the system and work on building my life means the world to me."
